Ingredients for Vegetarian Soup
Here are the ingredients you need:
• 4 celery stalks chopped
• 1 onion chopped
• 6 cups water (separated ½ c, 5 c and ½ c)
• ¼ cup chicken style seasoning
• 4 potatoes peeled and cubed
• 3 carrots peeled and sliced
• 1 cup soy curls or TVP
• 2 cups garbanzo beans (with liquid)
• 1 Tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
• 1 tsp salt
• 3 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Step-by-Step Directions:
Step 1
3:58 – 7:50….. In large pot simmer celery, onions, ½ c water and chicken style seasoning until vegetables are tender.
Step 2
7:51 – 8:51….. Add 5 cups of water, potatoes, carrots and soy curls or TVP to the pot.
Step 3
8:52 – 10:34….. In blender, mix together garbanzo beans, nutritional yeast, salt and ½ c water until smooth.
Step 4
10:35 – 10:52….. Stir garbanzo bean mixture into pot.
Step 5
16:20 – 17:31….. Add in parsley.
Step 6
Simmer 20 minutes on medium. If needed, add additional water for desired consistency.
