Devotional Key Text:
But whoever is united with the Lord
is one with him in spirit.
I Corinthians 6:17

We are so busy in our daily life. We think our time is wasted if we spend time with Jesus through prayer. We missed so much blessings if we fail to pray.

Miss Brenda’s One-Minute Devotion
When we understand the sacrifice Jesus made on Calvary, we can’t help but fall in love with Jesus. And once we have given our hearts to God, we cherish the time we spend with Him through prayer and Bible study.
It’s not drudgery or something that we feel obligated to do. If we want to experience the fullness of His presence, we must make our worship time a priority.
The more time we spend with Jesus, the closer we will be to Him, and it is then that we’ll experience His power to defeat the enemy and walk away from temptation.
All too often we avoid prayer until we are in trouble — and then we get on our knees.
Our problem is that we have become accustomed to meeting our own needs, trying to fix our own problems, and relying on self for everything, even when we are doing God’s work!
God blesses our feeble efforts. However, when we enter into a prayer relationship with Him, we’ll receive blessings beyond our wildest imagination!
Talking one on one with God gives us wisdom, strength, and power that otherwise we would not have. Only when we surrender our will to His will can we fully become one with Jesus!
Determine today to make God your highest priority, and take time to pray!
